System Audit

A structured audit of your Home Assistant campervan setup with a prioritised fix plan.

Get clarity on what’s working, what’s fragile, and what to fix first.

Already built (or half-built) and something feels off? We’ll review your current Home Assistant–powered campervan control system, identify reliability risks, and give you a prioritised improvement plan.

This is practical, van-life-focused feedback — not generic smart-home advice.

What you get

A structured review that typically includes:

  • System health check (core stability, updates, backups, storage, performance)
  • Architecture review (how everything is connected: power, sensors, relays, dashboards)
  • Device & integration audit (what’s solid, what’s flaky, what’s misconfigured)
  • Network & reliability risks (Wi-Fi layout, dropouts, interference, off-grid assumptions)
  • Automation review (safety logic, fail-safes, “works… sometimes” fixes)
  • Dashboard/UI review (at-a-glance usability, driving/camp modes, tablet readiness)
  • Prioritised action plan (quick wins → deeper improvements, in the right order)

Common issues we help fix

  • Random device dropouts or slow UI
  • Too many “one-off” entities with no structure
  • Dashboards that look cool but aren’t usable day-to-day
  • Critical circuits controlled with no manual fallback
  • Automations that fight each other (or trigger unexpectedly)
  • Home Assistant running on hardware that’s not suited to van life

How it works

  • Intake: You tell us what you’ve built, what’s not working, and your goals.
  • Review: We inspect your setup (via screenshots/exports/backups or guided walkthrough).
  • Audit call: We talk through findings and trade-offs.
  • Report: You get a clear, prioritised improvement plan you can implement.

Who it’s for

  • Owners with a setup that’s unreliable or messy
  • DIY builders who want a second pair of eyes before they expand
  • Anyone mid-build who wants to avoid baking in problems

What we’ll need from you

  • A rough list of what you’re controlling (lights, water, heating, power, etc.)
  • Your key symptoms (what fails, when, and how often)
  • Current hardware list (even incomplete)
  • Screenshots of dashboards + key integrations (or a guided screen-share)
  • If possible: a recent HA backup / config export (optional but very helpful)
