Every campervan contains many subsystems, but rarely do they talk to each other. Vendors rarely talk to each other so you end up with lots of small systems, all with their own mobile app, control panel or remote control. Our system brings them all together in one place so that you can control and automate them as a single system.
Some of it you never have to ask for. See the instincts built into every Nomad.
Currently the following devices will work with Nomad. Obviously any item can be switched using the relay, but these devices are integrated into Nomad.

Our Core includes a Raspberry Pi 5 for the brain with our Nomad Base software installed. Pair this with a 10" Android tablet, and a 8 channel relay and you have a powerful base control system for your campervan that already integrates with many devices.
| Nomad Base, example build | Approx. |
|---|---|
| Core | £699 |
| Touchscreen or tablet | £80 |
| Relay module | £40 |
| Typical all-in base system (not including sensors) | £819 |
Most camper control systems are sealed hardware bundles. Here is roughly where an all-in Nomad build sits against the market:
| Type of system | Typical price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Budget control panel | £300 to £400 | Fixed switching and basic monitoring |
| Extended control panel | £700 to £900 | Additional features |
| Marine-grade digital switching | £1,300 to £3,000+ | Powerful, but closed and installer-led |
| Nomad, all-in | £819 to £2,000 | Extensive monitoring, control and intelligence for your vehicle |
Nomad offers a feature list beyond most other campervan control systems at a mid range price.

Everything above runs on the computer inside your van and needs nothing from us. Five things cannot, because they all come from outside the vehicle: remote access for you, remote support from us, cloud backups of your setup, the software updates we deliver and apply for you, and Radar Premium licences (one on Base, two on Pro, two on Vision and two on AI). Those five are the Sensa Nomad Support Plan, and the first year is included in the price of every system. After that it renews at £99 to £169 a year depending on your tier, and renewing is optional: a van whose plan has lapsed carries on exactly as before, on the version it is on.
