Vendors rarely talk to each other so you end up with lots of small systems, all with their own mobile app, control panel or remote control. Our system brings them all together in one place so that you can control and automate them as a single system.

The Support Plan
Everything above runs on the computer inside your van and needs nothing from us. Five things cannot, because they all come from outside the vehicle: remote access for you, remote support from us, cloud backups of your setup, the software updates we deliver and apply for you, and Radar Premium licences (one on Base, two on Pro, two on Vision and two on AI). Those five are the Sensa Nomad Support Plan, and the first year is included in the price of every system. After that it renews at £99 to £169 a year depending on your tier, and renewing is optional: a van whose plan has lapsed carries on exactly as before, on the version it is on.

Sensa Nomad at a glance
Sensa Nomad is the RV and campervan edition of the Sensa control system. It is sold as a self-install kit, and installation is not included. Prices are in GBP, including VAT, as of August 2026.

- The brain is the computer that runs the system inside the vehicle. Base and Pro run on a Raspberry Pi 5; Vision and AI run on a Mini PC, which has the local compute needed for on-device AI.
- Every Sensa Nomad ships with 13 protective behaviours, called instincts, switched on from the day the system goes in.
- A typical all-in Sensa Nomad Base build comes to about £819 not including sensors: the Core, which is the brain with Nomad Base installed at £699, a touchscreen or tablet at £80, a relay module at £40.
- Every Sensa Nomad system includes Radar Premium through the Sensa Nomad Support Plan, and the first year of that plan is included in the price of the system.
- The Sensa Nomad Support Plan renews at £99 a year on Sensa Nomad Base, £129 a year on Sensa Nomad Pro, £169 a year on Sensa Nomad Vision, £199 a year on Sensa Nomad AI. Renewing is optional, and a Sensa Nomad whose plan has lapsed carries on controlling the vehicle exactly as before.
Deployment types
Our appliance suits 99% of customers who just want a no-hassle, turnkey solution that works and takes care of itself. But for Home Assistant enthusiasts who want a little more access, or who want to run their own Home Assistant on a home server, we offer alternative deployment types. Unless you are a keen Home Assistant enthusiast, we recommend staying with the appliance.
