The computer that runs everything, mounted out of sight and powered from the leisure battery. One per vehicle. Pick the tier that suits the build: each one runs the same Nomad software, and the tier sets how much it can take on. The first year of the Support Plan is in the price.

A MiFi or your phone's hotspot will get the van online. What a proper router adds is position for Radar and a tidy wired lane for screens and modules, which is why most builds fit one.

Everything that makes a Nomad work runs inside your van and needs nothing from us. Five things cannot: connecting to your van remotely, remote support from Sensa, backups to the cloud, software updates and our navigation module Radar Premium. Those five are the Support Plan, and the first year is included in the price of every Nomad system.

No. Sensa Nomad is sold as a self-install kit, and the tier price covers the brain with the Nomad software installed. If you would rather not do the install yourself, our trade partners fit Sensa systems, and we offer a design service for £99 to plan the build first.
A typical all-in Sensa Nomad Base build comes to about £823.95: the Core at £699, a touchscreen or tablet at about £80, and a relay module at about £40. That figure does not include sensors, which depend entirely on what you want to monitor.
No. Sensa controls and integrates the kit in your van rather than replacing it, so the tier price does not include your Victron gear, lighting, heating, pumps, router or sensors. This is deliberate: you keep hardware you already own, and you buy the rest from whoever you like. Our rated devices list covers what we have tested.
No. Sensa Nomad has no subscription and no licence fee to control your own vehicle. You buy the kit once and it keeps running, offline and indefinitely. There is one optional annual plan alongside it, the Sensa Nomad Support Plan, which covers the five things that cannot run inside the van: remote access, remote support from us, cloud backups, the Nomad software updates we deliver and Radar Premium. The first year is included in the price of every Nomad system, and a system whose plan has lapsed carries on controlling the vehicle exactly as before, on the version it is on. Sensa Studio Premium is a separate optional subscription to a different product.

A budget control panel is typically £300 to £400 for fixed switching and basic monitoring, an extended panel £700 to £900, and marine-grade digital switching £1,300 to £3,000 or more but closed and installer-led.
