These terms cover MySensa, your Sensa account. What you use the account FOR is covered by that product’s own terms: the Sensa Control Terms for a Nomad or Helm system, the Sensa Radar Terms for Radar, the Sensa Studio Terms for Studio, and the Terms of Sale when you buy from our shop. How we handle your personal data is covered by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement.
The short version
This summary is here so you know what you are agreeing to. It is not part of the agreement and the numbered clauses below are what count.
- MySensa is one account for everything Sensa: your orders, your vehicles and their licences, your subscriptions, your saved designs and your journey history.
- The account is free. It is not a product and there is nothing to pay for it.
- We never see your password. Sign-in is handled for us by Microsoft.
- An account is for one person, and a vehicle can be shared with the people you choose. Clause 5 explains what they can see.
- Close it whenever you like. Clause 8 explains what happens to what is on it.

1. Who we are, and how to contact us
1.1 MySensa is operated by Sensa Systems Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16958196. Our registered office is 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 5PF and our VAT number is GB513010854. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Sensa Systems Ltd, and “you” means the account holder.
1.2 You can contact us at [email protected] or on 0330 223 7715. If we need to contact you, we will use the email address on your account.
2. These terms
2.1 Holding a Sensa account means accepting these terms. You do not have to sign anything separately.
2.2 You must be 16 or over to hold a Sensa account.
2.3 We may change these terms. If the change is minor, such as a clarification or a correction, we will simply update this page and the date at the foot of it. If the change materially affects your rights, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you will see it on the Legal page of your account.
2.4 If any clause of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of them continue to apply.
3. What MySensa is
3.1 The Sensa account portal: orders, the vehicles on your account, licences, subscriptions, saved Sensa Studio designs and Sensa Radar journey history, all behind a single sign-in.
3.2 The account is free, and it is not a product in its own right. It is the place the things you have bought are gathered.
3.3 It is not where your vehicle is controlled. Your Sensa system runs on the computer inside the vehicle. MySensa shows you what you own and lets you manage it; the Sensa Control Terms govern the system itself.
3.4 A record here is not the agreement. Where MySensa displays a licence, an order, a subscription or a support plan, it is showing you a record of it. The relevant product terms and, for a purchase, the Terms of Sale, are what govern it.
4. Your account, and keeping it secure
4.1 Sign-in is handled by Microsoft Entra External ID on our behalf. We never see or hold your password.
4.2 You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for anything done through it. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you think somebody else is using it.
4.3 An account is for one person. Do not share your sign-in. If you want somebody else to see a vehicle, add them under clause 5 rather than handing over your credentials.
4.4 Keep your details current, so that we can reach you about an order, a renewal, a safety issue or a change to these terms.
5. Sharing a vehicle with other people
5.1 You can add other people to a vehicle on your account, so that a household or a business fleet is not tied to one person.
5.2 What they can see. Somebody you add can see the vehicle and use the things that come with it, including any Radar Premium licences included with a Support Plan. Only the account owner can change ownership, buy, cancel or remove people.
5.3 You are responsible for who you add. Adding somebody gives them real access to a vehicle’s information. Remove them when they should no longer have it.
5.4 Removing somebody takes their access away, but does not retrieve information they have already seen or exported.
6. Acceptable use
6.1 You must not:
- use somebody else’s account, or let somebody else use yours;
- attempt to reach another customer’s orders, vehicles, designs or data;
- extract data from MySensa in bulk, or by automated means;
- interfere with the service or probe it for vulnerabilities without our written agreement;
- use the account for anything unlawful.
6.2 If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please report it to [email protected] rather than testing it further. We will not pursue anyone who reports a genuine issue responsibly and privately.
6.3 We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe this clause has been broken, or where we are required to by law. Where it is practical and lawful we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right first.
7. Availability, and changes
7.1 We aim to keep MySensa available, and we will use reasonable skill and care in providing it, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. It depends on third-party services including our sign-in provider.
7.2 Your vehicle does not depend on it. If MySensa is unavailable, your Sensa system carries on controlling your vehicle exactly as before, because it runs on the computer inside the vehicle.
7.3 We may change MySensa, including adding, altering or withdrawing features.
8. Closing your account
8.1 You can ask us to close your account at any time by emailing us.
8.2 What closing it does not do. It does not cancel a subscription, end a support plan, or revoke a licence, and it does not undo an order. Your Sensa system carries on working: your licence is perpetual and validated on your own hardware, not on your account.
8.3 Before you close it, export anything you want to keep, such as your Studio designs. What we retain afterwards, and for how long, is set out in the Privacy Policy. We keep some records because the law requires it, for example the record of a purchase.
8.4 If you are the owner of a shared vehicle, tell us who it should pass to, so the people who rely on it are not left without access.
9. Our responsibility for loss or damage
9.1 We do not exclude, and nothing in these terms limits, our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you, including, if you are a UK consumer, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
9.2 If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
9.3 The account is supplied free of charge. To the fullest extent the law allows, and subject always to clause 9.1, our liability in connection with MySensa itself is limited to the non-excludable matters in clause 9.1. This does not limit our responsibility under the terms of anything you bought, which have their own liability clauses and are unaffected by this one.
9.4 We are not responsible for failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including failures of the internet, of our sign-in provider, or of your own equipment or connection.
10. Complaints
10.1 If something has gone wrong, email us at [email protected] and tell us what happened. We will acknowledge within five working days and try to resolve it within 30 days.
10.2 If you are a consumer and we cannot resolve it between us, nothing in these terms stops you taking the matter to court, or using an alternative dispute resolution service if one is available to you.
11. General
11.1 These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the account itself.
11.2 We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation, for example if the business is sold. We will tell you if this happens.
11.3 This agreement is between you and us. Nobody else has any right to enforce it.
11.4 If we delay enforcing a term, or do not enforce it, that does not stop us doing so later.
12. Which law applies, and where you can bring a claim
12.1 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales.
12.2 If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland, as applicable.
12.3 If you are a consumer living outside the United Kingdom, clause 12.1 does not deprive you of the protection given to you by the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
